Martlet Wireless Unit

Martlet Introduction

Martlet is a next-generation low-cost wireless sensing node developed for smart structures applications. The development of Martlet is a joint effort among the Laboratory for Intelligent Systems and Technologies at the University of Michigan, the Laboratory for Smart Structural Systems at Georgia Institute of Technology, and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Michigan Technological University. The Martlet wireless node adopts a Texas Instruments Piccolo microcontroller as the core processor. The microcontroller (TMS320F28069) supports programmable clock frequency up to 90MHz.
